This is a legal process. Evidence must be verifiable. First-hand evidence signed by a witness and verified by a notary or two additional witnesses is critical. Also helpful are second-hand stories. Some people may be afraid to sign a statement. It is best if they do; but a person who has heard their story can tell it for them. Tell the stories; get the evidence.
